Our First Homestead Animal and it Wasn’t a Chicken!!

Months after failing to acquire the property previously mentioned, I decided it was time to start doing. I would not spend another season watching others do what I dream of once I have a bit of land. If it’s truly a desire of mine then I should pursue it in any capacity possible. So on a random Tuesday afternoon I stumbled upon a Craigslist ad for free Pekin ducks. I can’t say why that post caught my eye. There had been many other Craigslist posts worthy of recklessly jumping into but something said today is the day!
